Biogeochemist interested in how agriculture, urbanization, energy production, and land use change have influenced nutrient cycling in watersheds, with particular interest in lake and coastal ecosystems.
In order to improve the Baltic Sea environmental status we need to understand the interaction between land and runoff before it reaches our coasts. Knowledge about how the soils around the Baltic Sea are managed are therefor one of the keys to a better Baltic sea Environment.
