In order to jump-start the new academic year 2017/2018 as well as the interactions between Plant Sciences researchers in Stockholm, a one-day meeting focusing on plant cell walls will be held on Tuesday 26th September. The scientific organisers are Prof. Vincent Bulone (KTH) and Dr. Edouard Pesquet (SU). The meeting organiser is Delphine Ménard (SU).

Using Biochemistry, Cell and Developmental Biology, Environmental Remediation, Genetic Engineering and Material Sciences, the different speakers will adress:

1. The formation of plant biomass
2. The contribution of science to create new
materials, nanomaterials
3. The use of plant biomass to depollute
