Coral reefs bleached to death
What happens if large areas of coral reefs disappear? Can viable coral reefs be transplanted? DEEP researchers Michael Tedengren and Christina Halling were invited to talk about this on the program “Klotet” (The Sphere), Radio Sweden.
Coral researcher Michael Tedengren at Department of Ecology, Environment and Plant Science (DEEP) studies the degree of bleaching of corals exposed to a combination of heat stress, eutrophication and antibiotics from fish farms.
