Alcohol and Drug Research Network within Social Sciences (Sonad network)
The national researcher network Sonad was initiated in 2004 by the Centre for Social Research on Alcohol and Drugs (SoRAD).
SoRAD initiated the national researcher network Sonad in 2004.
Sonad gathers researchers active in social science research on alcohol and other drugs in Sweden. The aim of the network is to increase the cooperation between different regions and research settings in Sweden and to form a national base and meeting place for young and more experienced researchers. Network meetings have been organized annually since 2005, with a break during the covid-19-pandemic. The meetings are hosted by different research groups around Sweden. The network meetings are primarily held in Swedish.
