About me

ANNA-KARIN TIDÉN, Research Officer.

PhD in organic chemistry from SU followed by a postdoc Fellowship at Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand. Then followed more than 20 years in the Pharmaceutical Industry as a Medicinal Chemist and part of Research Management at AstraZeneca, both in Sweden and in the UK. Currently acting as a Scientific Advisor for e.g. the Wellcome Trust and a Research Institute in Belgium. Member of the Selection Committee for the Global Health Innovative Technology Fund (Japan). Written and won research funding on behalf of clients from e.g. Innovate UK and Horizon2020.

At SU I am the contact person for financing of Research Infrastructure, e.g. the Swedish Research Council, Riksbankens Jubileumsfond and Horizon2020/Horizon Europe.

I am also one of two people who act as IPR-coordinators for researchers at SU. We help with training (including explaining the "Professor's Privilege" which actually is part of the Swedish Legal system) and basic advice in any IPR-process.
