About me

My research is concerned with mathematical problems related to Computerized Tomography (datortomografi). For instance, I study uniqueness and stability questions for the inverse of the   Radon transform  and some of its generalizations.  Another interest of mine is microlocal analysis, that is, the description of singularities of distributions in terms of their local harmonic analysis, which is provided by  the (analytic) wave front set of the distribution. The connection with tomography is that it is sometimes useful to make  precise analysis  of the singularities of  solutions to an equation $R f = g$, where $R$ is a generalized Radon transform.
