Monir Bounadi is a Graduate Student at the IIES. His main research interests are at the intersection of development economics, political economy, and economic history. To be more specific, he is interested in the impact of historical events on cultural evolution and the consequent effect on current economic development. His secondary research interest is in econometrics and causal inference from both a theoretical and applied perspective.
