This page contains information about booking Språkstudion's rooms, including booking conditions and current booking prices.
Booking conditions
Language departments at the Faculty of Humanities book Språkstudion’s rooms via TimeEdit. Other Stockholm University departments and faculties are welcome to e-mail their booking requests to info@sprakstudion.su.se or to call at 08 – 16 35 40.
All students, staff and visitors to Språkstudion's premises must follow the general recommendations given by the Public Health Agency of Sweden regarding social distancing, hand hygiene, etc. Anyone who is feeling ill should not visit Språkstudion's rooms.
Rescheduling or cancelling a booking
Cancellation = when a booking is cancelled via TimeEdit or direct contact with Språkstudion's staff. We charge as follows:
Language departments at the Faculty of Humanities:
- More than 24 hours in advance: no charge
- Less than 24 hours in advance: 100% charge, according to the price list for other departments
Other faculties and external bookings:
- More than 14 days in advance: no charge
- 14-7 days in advance: 50% charge
- Less than 7 days in advance: 100% charge
Rescheduling = when the time and/or day for the reservation is changed. No charge.
No-show = when no one has shown up for the booking after 30 minutes, and Språkstudion hasn’t received any notice regarding cancellation or rescheduling. 100% charge. Departments at the Faculty of Humanities will be charged like other departments at the university.
Booking for examination
Remember to reserve 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after the student exam time. Språkstudion needs this time to prepare and follow up the exam in a professional way.
Please specify the settings required for the exam, such as internet access limitations, activation of spell-check, etcetera.
Please specify if there are students in need of extra auxiliary means or special support.
Pricing
Språkstudion's rooms and resources can be booked during our regular opening hours, and in certain cases outside of the opening hours. Booked rooms should be restored to their original condition latest 10 minutes before the end of the booked time.
Bookings outside of regular opening hours must be approved by Språkstudion's director, and an additional opening fee of 500 kr will be charged.
If a technician is needed after 17:00, this must be approved by Språkstudion's director and is subject to an additional fee.
