This is not the first time that Manzoni makes this list, which is made and published by Clarivate. The Highly Cited Researchers list identifies researchers that have authored papers that rank in the top 1%, demonstrating significant and broad influence in their field. Of the world’s population of scientists and social scientists, Highly Cited Researchers are 1 in 1,000, according to Clarivate.
