Benthic Biodiversity at an Ecosystem Scale
The work proposed within this project aims to address several gaps in our understanding of the dynamics of benthic biodiversity in response to anthropogenic stress and improve on the tools we can employ in monitoring an ecosystem’s overall health through studying the meiofauna’s diversity. For this, the project address the question on how metazoan biodiversity changes over time, space and in relation to anthropogenic pressures in the Baltic Sea.
