PODCAST

We are currently producing the program in podcast format.

As university teachers, we sometimes refer to students' lack of motivation as a common obstacle in their learning. However, research shows motivation is not static and unchangeable amongst students.

You'll find Klara Bolander Laksov, Professor in Higher Education at Stockholm University and Tom Angelo, Professor Emeritus of Education Innovation and Research talking about conditions for how university teachers can contribute to the development of motivating learning environments.

Their conversation is based upon the following two articles:

Angelo, T. A. (2017). Assessing Motivation to Improve Learning: Practical Applications of Keller's MVP Model and ARCS‐V Design Process. New Directions for Teaching and Learning, 2017(152), 99-108.

Svinicki, M. D. (2016). Motivation: An Updated Analysis. IDEA Paper# 59. IDEA Center, Inc.

Filmed at Stockholm University on April 10th 2019.
