The Migration Policy (MIGPOL) Database

The Migration Policy Database provides detailed information on migration policy across a large number of countries and years. Included are comparative data on immigrant rights as codified in social security legislation (IMLABX) and specialized rights tailored to irregular migrants (PRIME). The database also serves as a hub for migration policy data collected in by other projects outside COMPLAB.
 
The team behind MIGPOL cooperates with researchers around the globe to organize workshops, conferences and public events on the topic of migration policy. It also monitors ongoing and new projects in the research field and maintains a comprehensive database on Migration Policy Indicators (MIND).
 
Funding for MIGPOL was provided by grants from the Swedish Research Council (2021-00162_VR).
