Health and the emergence of diseases 7,5 credits
The course is an advanced course that focuses on the study of cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying the maintenance of the homeostatic balance in tissues and organs and their alterations in disease conditions.
The course provides knowledge about the biological basis of tissues and organ function in physiological conditions to be compared with pathological mechanisms characterising the onset and progression of diseases.
