Her research interests are in Applied Microeconomics, Political Economy and Behavioral Economics. In her current work, she studies for example how social image concerns, moral values, and social preferences shape economic and political decision making.

Anna holds a Ph.D. in Economics from University College London and has previously studied in Bonn and Berlin.
