International guest

The department welcomes Associate Professor Mathieu Albert from the Wilson Centre, Toronto University in Canada.

Mathieu Albert is visiting the Higher Education Learning and Practices (HELP) research group during October. He will participate in seminars, meet with PhD students and take part in a research project about the value of research in different higher education communities together with professor Klara Bolander Laksov.

Mathieu Albert is an expert on Pierre Bourdieu and social theories. His research is based in sociology of education and centers around issues of knowledge epistemologies in social sciences and medical education.
