SULaw participated in two prestigious international moot court competitions

We are thrilled to announce that two teams of our outstanding law students recently participated in prestigious international moot court competitions in the spring 2024.

Our students competed in the IBA ICC Moot Court Competition, a highly esteemed moot that simulates proceedings before the International Criminal Court (ICC). This competition offered a unique platform for students to delve into international criminal law, enhance their advocacy skills, and connect with peers and professionals from around the globe. Our students had the incredible opportunity to attend the grand finale at the International Criminal Court, with ICC Judge Althea Violet Alexis-Windsor presiding over the proceedings.

Our students also participated in the Sports Arbitration Moot, a competition focusing on legal disputes in professional sports. This innovative moot provided a valuable opportunity for our students to explore the legal aspects surrounding sports, sharpen their legal arguments, and gain deep insights into the arbitration processes relevant to sports-related issues.

These two competitions were not only a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students but also a significant opportunity for them to showcase their talents on an international stage. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and the exemplary way they represented our institution. Congratulations to our teams!

Please join us in congratulating our students for their exceptional performance and dedication. Their achievements in these challenging and rewarding competitions are a source of great pride for the legal education community.
