Jonas wants to work with math
- I like math and I would like to work with math when I've finished my studies, says Jonas Skoglund, who was among the approximately 100 new students who showed up when the autumn term started on Monday 26th of August.
The department had booked one of the bigger lecture rooms for the introduction, since the number of applicants for the year 2024/25 had increased quite a bit compared to previous years.
Jonas is about to start studying the Bachelor programme in Mathematics and has already decided to continue on a Master's programme, preferably in statistics, when he's done with his Bachelor.
Why did you choose Stockholm university?
- I knew about SU and therefore, it came natural to start studying here. It's a very good university as well, says Jonas.
What are you doing in 6-8 years?
- Hopefully, I'm working with something in the filed of Mathematics!
