Food Security in Brazil: vulnerabilities and opportunities for national development and regional integration

The seminar aims to seek elements to bring together, through the lens of International Political Economy, the concepts of food security, national security, geopolitics and regional integration, trying to reflect how the movements of Global geopolitics influence food security in Brazil and how regional integration could mitigate the risks and vulnerabilities associated with these impacts, regarding: i) the increase of internal production of fertilizers, ii) diversifying the origin of these inputs based on a project that prioritizes production and intra-regional exchange, considering the potential present in Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia, Venezuela and Argentina, and iii) the potential of new technological routes.
