Which journals are included?
The agreement includes unlimited open access publishing in most of RSC journals with some exceptions.
How do I proceed as a corresponding author?
When submitting a manuscript to an RSC journal, make sure that:
- You are corresponding author.
- You state your Stockholm University affiliation.
- You use your SU email address
When your article has been accepted
- The corresponding author will receive a message from the publisher with a link to RSC publisher’s license portal. Mark “select an open access licence”, for open access publishing free of charge.
- The article will be immediately open access when published.

What’s included?
Articles will be published with a CC BY or CC BY-NC licenses for all types of articles in both hybrid journals and fully open access journals. More information on CC BY licenses.
All article types are included in the agreement.
What's not included?
Additional charges associated with the printed journal, such as color figures or offprints.
