If you are an employee of the university and are subjected to harassment or threats via e-mail or social media, take the following steps:

  1. Save the e-mail or link of the blog, comment field of the article or homepage.
  2. Note the date and time when you received/discovered the message.
  3. Inform your immediate manager.
  4. Contact the Security Coordinator of the Property Management Office: Thomas Hårberg, tel. no.: 08-16 10 25, e-mail: thomas.harberg@su.se.
  5. You can get advice on how to act as well as help with drafting a possible police report and arranging any necessary security guard support. You can also get support in tracking down the person who has threatened you or help with contacting those responsible for websites where the threats are published.

Personal Safety Manual

The Swedish Security Service (SÄPO) has published a personal safety manual that contains advice and support for politically active people, but it can also be used by other professions. Download the manual from SÄPO’s website.
