Dr Kseniya Oksamytna a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in International Politics at City, University of London. She is also a Visiting Research Fellow in the Conflict, Security, and Development Research Group at King’s College London. Her research interests are international organizations (in particular, decision-making, resourcing, and inequalities in international bureaucracies), international security, and peace operations. She is the author of Advocacy and Change in International Organizations: Communication, Protection, and Reconstruction in UN Peacekeeping (Oxford University Press, 2023), winner of Chadwick F. Alger Book Award by the International Organization Section of International Studies Association. She is also the co-editor of UN Peace Operations and International Relations Theory (Manchester University Press, 2020). Her work has been published in, among others, International Studies Quarterly, International Studies Review, Journal of Conflict Resolution, Journal of Peace Research, and Contemporary Security Policy.
