Symposium ASLA 2022

The national symposium of ASLA, the Swedish Association for Applied Linguistics, with the theme is Language in practice – in a changing world, was held at Stockholm University 7–8 April 2022. In addition to paper presentations, the symposium had three plenary lectures and three panel discussions. Conference proceedings

The symposium’s conference proceedings are in preperation. As a presenter at the ASLA symposium Language in practice - in a changing world at Stockholm University on 7-8 April 2022 you are invited to submit contributions.

Organization

The symposium is organized by the Department of Swedish Language and Multilingualism at Stockholm University, and is a collaboration between the Centre for Research on Bilingualism, Scandinavian Languages, Swedish as a Foreign Language, and the Institute for Interpreting and Translation Studies.

About ASLA

ASLA stands for the Swedish Association for Applied Linguistics (Association suédoise de linguistique appliquée).

ASLA is the Swedish branch of the international AILA (Association internationale de linguistique appliquée). ASLA’s mission is to promote research on practical problems related to language, to facilitate contact between linguists in Sweden and other countries, and to recruit to the research networks organized by AILA.
