Tisus is offered twice a year, once in the spring and once in the autumn. In Sweden, Tisus is administered in Linköping, Lund, Malmö, Stockholm, Umeå and Uppsala. Tisus is also administered abroad at established test centres. We can also, upon request, investigate the possibility of administering Tisus at other locations abroad. This implies that you may be referred to a location other than the one desired. Since 1997, Tisus replaces the test called Rikstest.

Tisus consists of three components

  1. Reading
  2. Writing
  3. Speaking Proficiency

Tisus test developers

Tisus test writers develop two tests each year. Each test consists of a reading component, a writing component and a speaking component. Besides test development, we continuously work on test validation and ensure quality standards. More information on Tisus test developers can be found here.
