Computational Physics

This course represents the core of the Master’s program in computational physics. You will build on what you have learned in your prior courses in programming and numerical analysis to take on advanced calculations in many different sub-fields of physics.

Citat

The focus of this course is on the applications of numerical methods to physical problems across various sub-fields of physics. You will practice your ability to transform a physical problem into a suitable form for a numerical treatment and to analyze the calculated result. The course will further strengthen your ability to write efficient larger codes by using existing program libraries. The course is specifically targeted at students on the Master’s program in Computational Physics, but other students with adequate background can access it as well. This course is taught in English.

  • Course structure
