Opening hours

Opening hours for particular buildings, departments, service functions and lunch venues around Stockholm University, are to be found on each respectively website (or on site). The university's telephone operator is open weekdays from 08:00 to 16:30. The university is closed on "red days" and national public holidays.

The university has operations in several different buildings and in several different places. Below are some of the larger buildings.

Departments at Stockholm University

Albano and Södra huset (House A-F)

Monday–Thursday: 06:30–22.00
Friday: 06.30–20.00
Saturday–Sunday: 08.00–18.00
Closed at national holidays ("röda dagar")

Allhuset

Monday–Thursday: 06:30–22.00
Friday: 06.30–20.00
Saturday–Sunday: Closed

Arrhenius Laboratories

The main entrance is open: 
Monday and Wednesday: 07.30–18.15
Tuesday and Thursday: 07.30–18.30
Friday: 07.30–16.00  

Closed Saturday, Sunday and national holidays.

Geoscience Building

Closed "red" days and national public holidays

The university is closed on all national public holidays and 'röda dagar' (literally 'red days'). However, variations may occur at individual buildings and departments. Contact the relevant department or office for more information.

Stockholm University will be closed on the following days in 2025:
