Ginny Qian Qian Xu, visiting PhD scholar at the department from Tilburg University, Netherlands, presents her project on children and families in Chinese children's literature.
Her research focuses on depictions of families in Chinese children’s magazines during 1978 – 2020, including topics with so called left-behind children, the only-child family-policy, and families with multiple children.
This online-seminar is open and will be given in English.
