Marianna Lammi, PhD scholar at Turku University, Finland, presents a part of her thesis.
Her research deals with ecocriticism, human/critical animal studies and food studies and focuses on depictions of food’s origin, and how fictional discussions around food and ethics have changed in children’s literature after the Second World War.
