Alarms

Stockholm University has a large number of alarm points located in different parts of all campuses. The alarms are received by the university's security staff, who assess the nature of the alarm and can quickly get to the alarm point if necessary.

If you accidentally trigger an alarm, you should remain on site until security staff arrive. It is also important that the staff responsible for the alarm system regularly review the system to reset alarms that are faulty.

If you have any questions regarding alarms, please contact security coordinator Jan Ekström.

When/if an important or serious event occurs at the university, a text message is sent to those responsible at the department or division concerned. The purpose of the text message is to ensure that the right recipients are quickly reached by the information and that the information is disseminated to those affected in their own organisation.

If you have any questions, please contact Security Coordinator Thomas Hårberg.
