Housing for international students
Exchange students and tuition fee-paying students are welcome to apply for university housing. We offer a range of housing options, from affordable corridor rooms to family apartments.
Only certain international students are eligible for housing. A government decision allows universities in Sweden to offer accommodation to
- Stockholm University Scholarship Scheme and Swedish Institute scholarship students who study for at least one semester
- exchange students who study for at least one semester
- tuition-paying students who study for at least one semester
- exchange doctoral students who study for at least one semester.
There is no housing guarantee for those who apply. Due to a shortage of housing in Stockholm, we can only offer accommodations to a limited number of students.
