Housing for international students

Exchange students and tuition fee-paying students are welcome to apply for university housing. We offer a range of housing options, from affordable corridor rooms to family apartments.

Only certain international students are eligible for housing. A government decision allows universities in Sweden to offer accommodation to

  • Stockholm University Scholarship Scheme and Swedish Institute scholarship students who study for at least one semester
  • exchange students who study for at least one semester
  • tuition-paying students who study for at least one semester
  • exchange doctoral students who study for at least one semester.

There is no housing guarantee for those who apply. Due to a shortage of housing in Stockholm, we can only offer accommodations to a limited number of students.

134 studio apartments, along with 12 one-bedroom and 4 two-bedroom apartments.

Small studio:
SEK 42,750–45,500/semester

Large studio:
SEK 56,500–58,250/semester

One-bedroom:
SEK 67,500–78,500/semester

Two-bedroom:
SEK 82,650–85,250/semester

40 corridor rooms

Corridor room:
SEK 22,500– SEK 27,000/semester

Lappis (Lappkärrsberget)

300 corridor rooms

Corridor room:
SEK 24,000–SEK 31,000/semester

Nora torg

28 studio apartments

Studio apartment:
SEK 32,500–SEK 34,000/semester

Solna

20 studio apartments

Studio apartment:
SEK 31,500/semester
