About me

I am a phd student in sociology at SOFI, Stockholm university. I take part in the project "All-inclusive? Cohesion and exclusion in work-life change". In general, I am interested in fields related to the labour market and working life, and to how fairness and efficiency might be combined to reach best possible outcomes.  In particular, I am interested in various dimensions of inequality and their causes and societal consequences.  During my phd, I plan to study:
*how inequality and relative poverty affects health in Sweden.
*how unemployment at the individual and the community level affect political opinions, in particular nationalist views.
*how economic shocks och policies affects the unemployment gap between immigrants and citizens born in the country and the unemployment gap between young and middle age people.
