Anna Jonsson

About me

Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer in Business administration with special focus on organization. I am also affiliated researcher at SIR, Stockholm School of Economics Institute for Research, and Lund University.

In focus for my research are questions related to how different professions and industries learn, share and develop knowledge and knowing. I am also engaged in various projects focusing on how scientific knowledge is shared – and produced - with society, and how the meeting between art and science can be seen as a method for communicating science. I defended my Ph D thesis "Knowledge sharing across borders - A study in the IKEA world" at Lund University in 2008.

Example of recent and ongoing research projects:

– Restructuring in progress: Organizational management and reflexivity among employees

– Let's have a chat about ChatGPT: A study of how private actors and chatbots are challenging the role of universities and (perhaps) influencing how we understand professional boundaries.

– Organizing ecosystems for learning: How professional service firms seek knowledge beyond professional and organizational boundaries

– The knowledge strip: The art of communicating and collaborating beyond ivory tower and market stalls through comics

– Beyond the market stalls and ivory towers: A study on integrated science for sustainable provision of knowledge

– Learning how to internationalize in practice: A case study of how local national firms from emerging markets acquire large multinational firms.
