About me

I am a PhD candidate in Art History since January 2024. Previously I have worked at the Hallwyl museum, Nationalmuseum and the Division for Historic Houses Collections at the National Historical Museums. My project "Bara stjärnorna sätter en gräns för hans rykte" Ära, minne och praktik: adliga gravmonument under 1600-talets andra hälft, revolves around late 17th and early 18th century funerary monuments. I try to understand these as formulations of power, education and glory and regard their iconography, material and spatial arrangements. Methodologically the project is framed by ideas of self-fashioning but also the concept of Sites of Memory (Lieux de mémoire) by Pierre Nora.
