Donald Baldwin is an industrial PhD student at the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences at Stockholm University in Sweden researching IoT security integration within Enterprise Architecture.

Baldwin is a consulting ICT Enterprise, Solution, and Security Architect; and Management Consultant. Baldwin is actively involved in research including ICT Enterprise Architecture, the Internet of Things (IoT), and Cyber Security. Responsibilities include managing the Purple Cyber Security Team operated by the Enterprise Systems Architecture Laboratory (ESAL) within Aurenav LLC, Cyber-TSCM security audits, investigations, incident response, and the delivery of professional consulting services in ICT and engineering.

Background

Baldwin is a senior ICT professional with extensive experience gained over the past three decades working with large enterprises in both the private and public sectors as an enterprise architect, solution architect, security architect, business analyst, process consultant, manager, and management consultant at both program and project levels.

Baldwin is currently the Co-chair of the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) representing private industry. OSAC is a program run by the US Department of State with private industry to support security awareness. Recent professional experience includes: Head of Secure Engineering Group and Manager Secure Development at Klarna, Enterprise Architect at Telia, Solution Architect at PostNord, Acting Enterprise Architect for the European Centers for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC); Enterprise Architect for Bank DnB Nord; Consulting Enterprise Architect for IBM, Accenture, CGEY, Fujitsu Services, Ericsson and Orange.
