About me

I am environmental toxicologist interested in the impact of contaminants on aquatic environment including sediment and biota. My research here is focused on the improvement in current methods for ecological risk assessment (ERA) of contaminated sediments. I am analysing the risk values at each tier and calculate integrated risk and uncertainty values using the TRIAD method. Further, the work involves a sensitivity analysis to help prioritize which measurement endpoints are most valuable for future optimized risk assessments. It is also aimed to derive a quantitative decision matrix for a more comprehensive presentation of risks to facilitate decision-making about risks and eventual remediation.
