About me

I am a PhD student in Sociology at the Swedish Institute for Social Research (SOFI) in the research program: "All-inclusive? Cohesion and exclusion in work life change".

My general areas of interest is labor markets and occupations. I am writing my thesis on different aspects of the quality of jobs and what implications the quality of jobs have for individuals.

In a first article I follow the development of job quality in a Swedish context from 1968 to 2020, using Level-of-Living survey (LNU) data. The aim is to look at how various dimensions of job quality have changed over the long-term. It will try to adress whether these changes have happened within or between jobs (i.e. by changes in the distribution of jobs). The relevance of job quality for several important outcomes such as wage, health and job satisfaction will be taken into account.
