The Department of Sociology is home to the Stockholm University Demography Unit (SUDA), an international group of scholars and doctoral students, working on many facets of population dynamics. It offers a Master’s program in Demography and a PhD program in Sociological Demography.

About me

My name is Flore and I am a PhD student in sociological demography at the Department of Sociology, Stockholm University. I previously worked as a research associate at the research group Education and Labour Market at HIVA-KU Leuven. I hold a Master in Social and Economic Sciences (University of Antwerp, 2019) and a Master in Gender and Diversity (University of Ghent, 2020).

My research interests include intersectionality, inequality on the labour market, and the connection between household work and the labour market.

I write my PhD dissertation as part of the research project "A family decision? Population studies of parental leave at the gendered workplace".
