About me

I am currently on a part-time PhD-doctorate at the university and spend the other half time as a lawyer (Sw. advokat). My background is a LL.M. from Stockholm University. A served as a law clerk thereafter. For a number of years thereafter, I worked at Mannheimer Swartling with real estate / land and environmental law. Most recently, before my current position focused on the same areas of law, and partly on procedural law, at Setterwalls, I was a Judge at Norrköping District Court for about 4.5 years.

Teaching

I have been teaching at the basic course in real estate / land law since 2008 and also lecturing at the special course in the same subject. I am also an expert commentator in real estate and environmental law at Juno.

Research

For my doctoral project, see the special link. In general, my research focus is broad on property/land and environmental law, with some focus on the so-called special property law (i.e. the part of the law that regulates land use in the relationship between individual property owners and the public / Government). Of particular interest are the conflicts of interest that often characterise land use, which can be between neighbours, contracting parties or different uses of the land.
