About me

I have a PhD in Rural Sociology from University of Latvia (2019). My current research interests are in the field of sociology of youth, inequality, and quality of life of different groups of young people, with focus on educational and employment careers. My research has been influenced by biographical approach to migration and spatial turn in social sciences, and I use both qualitative and quantitative methods in my research. In addition to teaching research methods, I work as researcher in Gothenburg University, and have so experience in working with data management and research infrastructures in Gothenburg University.
