About me

Current research

Since September 2022 I am doing my PhD at MISU, focusing on turbulence in the atmospheric boundary layer (ABL). My supervisors are Gunilla Svensson (MISU) and Philipp Schlatter (KTH).

My project centres around the development of a new large eddy simulation (LES) solver for simulating the ABL. The foundation for the model is the spectral element solver Nek5000. Our goal is to develop a model that is capable of simulating a full diurnal cycle in the ABL.

Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Meteorology at MISU
  • Master's degree in Atmospheric Sciences, Oceanography and Climate at MISU
  • Master's thesis about the climate impact from anthropogenic aerosol on a global scale, investigated using the earth system model MPI-ESM1.2
