Post-doc working with Assistan Professor Mika Sipponen
Before joining SU, Liyang received his Ph.D. from the University of British Columbia (Canada). In UBC, he developed a simple route to functionalize the lignin resources with significant uniformity, allowing for the fabrication of advanced lignin-based polymeric materials.
In SU, Liyang will continuly study about lignin-based materials chemistry and create advanced functional materials for a more sustainable world.
