Matilda AnderssonPhD Student

About me

Matilda received her M.Sc. in Bioresource Engineering from Umeå University in 2020. Her master thesis work included development of a new methodology for characterisation and quantification of lignin in various feedstocks using pyrolysis-GC/MS. After completing her master, she worked as a laboratory engineer at SSAB for two years. She is currently a PhD student in the Sustainable Materials Chemistry (SUSMATCHEM) research group lead by Assistant Professor Mika Sipponen. Her project includes the development of advanced agricultural materials using lignin-fatty acid hybrid materials.
