Markus PetersPhD

About me

Markus Peters joined the IIES in September 2018, after two years of graduate studies at the Department of Economics at Stockholm University. He is particularly interested in household finance and macroeconomics. His current research projects span the topics of individual savings, pension reform, measurement of inflation and economic growth, as well as the long-run growth implications of structural change in production networks.

In addition to being a PhD candidate at the IIES, Markus have experience from the Research Department at the Swedish central bank and from working with the Consumer Price Index at Statistics Sweden.
