Commercial law, with an emphasis on Personal Property law and Insolvency law, is my focus, both in research and teaching.  My more recent research has been directed towards international issues concerning the development of Swedish law through the accession to the Cape Town Convention and its protocols about Air Craft Equipment and Railway Rolling Stock (UNIDROIT/IAO Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment, Cape Town 16 November 2001). Swedish property law and insolvency law will face new challenges in relation to these international rules and will require further analysis.

My textbook, “Sakrättens Grunder”, now in its nineth edition, is regularly revised, as are commentaries to “Utsökningsbalken” and “Jordabalken”.
