About me

I am a marine ecologist working with different aspects of management and protection of species and habitats in the Baltic Sea.

Research

My research interest include:
- Effects of anthropogenic pressures (including eutrophication, boating and physical disturbance) on benthic habitats

- Mapping and monitoring of benthic species and habitats

- Biological invasions in aquatic ecosystems

- Seaweed and seagrass ecology

Current projects

Coastal exploitation and marine habitats
Investigating how human activities affect marine habitats in the coastal environment, what type of habitats that are most affected and efficiency of current protection of underwater habitats.
