Viviana Stechina

About me

I have worked as Research Officer at the Office for Research, Engagement and Innovation Services (REIS) since December 2017.

My main responsibilities are to assist researchers and departments with information and support regarding:

  • Horizon Europe’s funding in particular: Marie Sklodowsca-Curie Actions (Postdoctoral Fellowships, Staff Exchanges, COFUND); Clusters 2 (Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society), 3 (Civil Security for Society) and4 (Digital calls);
  • the implementation of the Nagoya Protocol;
  • postdoctoral funding;
  • responsible for STINT calls and SAR;
  • contact person for departments from the Faculty of Social Sciences.

Academic background:

I have a law degree from the National University of Córdoba in Argentina, a Degree of Master in Political Sciences from Uppsala University and a PhD in Political Science from Uppsala University. Since October 2008, I have worked as a researcher and teacher at the Department of Government, where I currently an affiliated researcher. Over the years, my research has dealt with issues such as corruption, transparency, accountability and environmental policy.
