Conference: The Opportunities and Challenges of Sign Language Interpretation

On 14 June 2024, Stockholm University, through the EduSign & SignEdu project, with the support of the Erasmus Funding Programme (KA220-HED-Cooperation partnerships in higher education), will host a one-day conference at Campus Albano, Stockholm University. The EduSign & SignEdu project involves three universities from three partner countries: Istinye University in Turkey, Humak University in Finland and Stockholm University.

The conference theme is ‘The Opportunities and Challenges of Sign Language Interpretation’. Lectures are offered from Turkey, Finland, and Sweden. Everyone is warmly invited to participate in this hybrid conference, which will be held either on-site in Albano or via webinar (link to be added).

The languages of the conference will be English, Swedish Sign Language, and International Sign Language. Link for registration for onsite participation at the conference can be found below. The deadline for registration is 1 June 2024. Please indicate the names of all persons attending. This is to calculate the number of coffee cups.
