Group description
Our research focuses on understanding the structure-property relationships in functional materials using transmission electron microscopy and spectroscopy.
In addition to applications, method development is a key activity in our group, such as electron-based pair distribution function (ePDF), 3D diffuse scattering, scanning electron diffraction (4D-STEM), momentum-resolved electron energy loss spectroscopy (EELS) and multi-dimensional data acquisition and analysis.
We are working a variety of materials systems including battery materials, electro- and heterogenous catalysts, cellulose, porous materials, ceramics, carbon nanostructures, etc.
