Research group Leopold Luna Ilag reseach group
Research in the Ilag lab is interdisciplinary and span the areas of biophysics, chemical biology, analytical chemistry and environmental science.
We focus on:
- Native Mass Spectrometry - Biophysical studies of non-covalent macromolecular complexes
- Chemical Ecology - Bioanalytical studies of biologically active molecules and their effect on the environment
- Novel Analytical Techniques - Development of sample preparation methods and ambient ionization techniques.
Leopold Luna Ilag is also a visiting professor at the Medical University of Lublin in Poland where he collaborates with Anna Sroka-Bartnicka on multimodal imaging of biomolecules using FTIR/RAMAN microscopy and MALDI Imaging.
