Research project Child-animal relationships
From an interdisciplinary perspective, the child/childish/naive will be highlighted as a possible ethical starting point. Ethics is otherwise usually based primarily on the rationality of the adult man, which is most evident in utilitarianism.
The child, in his contrast to the adult human being, can show the possibility of a different ethical openness to the most other, the animals, and question the prevailing carnofallogocentric order.
