This is studied through a field study with interviews, map analysis and field observations in Hellas outdoor area close to Stockholm. By analyzing the norms that prevail on the forest trails and identifying conflicts that may arise between different users and uses, we hope to contribute to an increased awareness of the versatile importance of the forest in today's society. We will also examine how different actors try to manage these conflicts and the consequences of their actions. We will also examine how the physical landscape is designed to either enable or restrict different forms of use and the drivers behind this and how these decisions affect the use and experience of forest trails.
